Daniel McBrearty Music

I’ve been making music for over 40 years, on clarinet, sax and guitar, and with my voice. I’m into most music that has rhythm and melody, but swing jazz and bebop, blues and soul have a special place for me. Making music has been my passion since I was about 14, and I can’t imagine not being an independent music maker.

I come from from West Wales, and now I live in Gent in Belgium. I record and release my on my label, DanMcB Music (that’s the tree logo at the top there).

This site is becoming a catalogue of my recordings. It is still work in progress! I also release on Bandcamp, Spotify, and YouTube. Please join my mailing list (at the bottom of the page) and check back regularly! I’m interested in sync opportunities and much of my music is “One Stop” – I own my own masters and publishing. I am also an electronics engineer – see my  Linked In page. Of course I have been heavily into audio (and designed analogue audio professionally for a few years). I did restoration, repair and design as a side business for a while, and you can find some info about that here. (But please note I no longer have time to fix your old mixer or tape machine – too busy making music!)
