I played many fun concerts with the Blue Heathens, led by trumpeter Angel Perez, from 2012 until early 2015, when our debut album was released. Now, by special arrangement, I can offer ONESTOP licensing of this exciting, original music (composed by myself or by Angel).
The energy of a hard working, gigging band shows in the music. This is authentic, original, New Orleans/Chicago style jazz played by a group of skilled, passionate musicians at the top of their game. The band was recorded in one room, and Joes Brands at Sputnik did a fantastic job of catching the sound of the band. Recording quality and mix are really excellent. Lucie De Ley's vocals bring out the poetry of my two original songs ("Let's Fall Out Of Love" and "Be Natural") perfectly. I am truly proud to have played a part in these recordings.
